The
Setantia Lodge of Installed Masters was consecrated on
11th April 1961, and was the first Installed
Masters’ Lodge within the province. It is considered
by many to be not only the premiere Installed Masters
Lodge in West Lancashire, but probably the country, and
has attracted many very senior masons to its ranks.
The
current policy is to elect a very recent Past Master
(light blue) to the office of Worshipful Master every
other year, alternating with an eminent brother on the
intervening years.
The Lodge meets three times a year, on the 30th of January, May and September or as near to as practical with the Installation taking place at the January meeting.
The next meeting will be on Friday 28th May
2010 with the Lodge being tyled at 6:30pm. There will be
a talk entitled: "The History of London Grand Rank
by W.Bro. Michael Munro SLGR.
